1. About the extension

Tidewell for Claude is a Chrome browser extension that adds folders, a prompt library, and Markdown export to claude.ai. It is developed and distributed by Tidewell. Tidewell for Claude is an independent, third-party tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic, PBC, the makers of Claude.

"Claude" is a trademark of Anthropic, PBC. We use the name solely to describe compatibility with Claude.ai.

2. License grant

Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the extension for your own personal, non-commercial use.

You may not:

• Sell, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the extension or a license key
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code
• Use the extension in a way that violates applicable law or Anthropic's Terms of Service for Claude

3. Free to use

Tidewell for Claude is free to use with no feature restrictions. There are no paid tiers, no subscriptions, and no license keys.

4. No warranty

The extension is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

In particular, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Claude.ai's interface may change at any time, which could temporarily affect the extension's functionality. We will make reasonable efforts to update the extension promptly when this occurs.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tidewell shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the extension, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the extension shall not exceed the amount you paid for the extension in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Your data

All data you create within the extension (folders, prompts, settings) is stored locally on your device. We have no access to your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

7. Modifications to the service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the extension at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to give notice of significant changes. Paid (Pro) users are entitled to all updates released during the lifetime of the product.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced with an updated effective date. Continued use of the extension after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Israel. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
